All About Mark Hewitson 

Me & CazAustralian born and now resident in the UK, I am Mark Hewitson and I live in High Wycombe with my partner Caz.

Photography has been a passion of mine for many years, ever since my parents brought me a manual film camera and I saw that first black and white image I had taken appear on the paper in the darkroom. Since picking up that first camera all those years ago, I have been hooked on capturing images with a speciality in portraits. As the years have gone on my enthusiasm and passion for photography has grown and I have been told that this is conveyed in the final images. 

I have many years of real world experience, placing me in the perfect position to be able to capture key moments and emotions with ease whilst maintaining a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

So why should you choose me? 

  • I understand individuality.

I believe that everyone is unique and therefore every person has their own personality.

Some are shy and reserved, some are energetic and outgoing, while most people just mix it all up and do whatever they feel like. As people grow from infancy to adulthood they develop their own individuality and personality, something I feel it is important to capture in the image. 

Regardless of age and personality of the person you can rest assured that the moment and emotions unique to you and your loved ones will be captured for a lifetime of memories.

  • You don’t have to worry.

The sessions will be fun, spontaneous and will make the most of the surroundings. Sessions start with an informal chat so we can get to know each other a little and I work hard to make sure that everyone is at ease because I believe that this is by far the best way to capture moments and emotions. After all, no one wants to look scared and nervous in the pictures on their wall.

  • Fair prices.

The prices I charge reflect the time and effort I put into the session and the editing afterwards. I very much believe that you get what you pay for and feel that this is reflected in my prices.

  • You won’t get the hard sell.

Nobody likes to feel pressurised into buying, so I will not give the hard sell. What you will get is wonderful images and guidance on how best they can be presented for maximum effect. I can offer a range of frames from the best suppliers in the country, practically guaranteeing that we will find something to compliment the current décor of your home.

Portrait photography sessions can take place in the studio or on location, enabling you to pick a style that suits you and your family.

So where am I based?

The studio is based just outside of High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, although if you choose to have a location session I am available to travel to all parts of Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and beyond. There are some fantastic locations out there which will enable stunning images to be created. If you have somewhere special you would like your pictures taken, just let me know.
